The production of soybean is forecasted to grow by 55%, in contrast with the 100–110% estimated demand increase by 2050 4. Presently, the United States is a major producer of soybean worldwide and contributes about 35% (342 MT) of total global production 3. However, the venerability of crops to different fungal infections is major constraints for growers and traders, which adversely affects their marketing in international trades. In India, the cultivation of soybeans started after 1960 and very quickly it attends premium position in pulses growing areas due to high demand, price and an industrial crop. It also contains 18–20% oil content with calcium, iron and glycine 1 and used as protein concentrates, vegetable oil for humans and a high-quality animal feed 2. Soybean ( Glycine max L.) contains highest protein (40–42%) among cultivated pulses. It was also observed that the soybean plants for Alternaria leaf spot disease in early sowing were predisposed and so farmers should be advised to practice delayed sowing of soybean crop. Major reasons were fluctuations in temperature, rainfall and relative humidity. The trend of disease severity and AUDPC value decreased from early sowing to late sowing (18th June–9th July). Maximum seed yield (1699 kg ha −1) was recorded in plants sown on 9th July, while, lowest seed yield was recorded in plants sown on 18th June with 1441.20 kg ha −1. Lowest disease severity (39.80 and 38.50%) and AUDPC (266.18 and 259.18) were observed during 39–43th standard meteorological week (September, 24–October, 28) in year 20, respectively. The maximum increase in disease severity (57.82 and 58.22%) and AUDPC (389.45 and 394.42) recorded in crop sown on 18th June (inoculated on 8th July). , temperature, relative humidity and rainfall under inoculated conditions and with staggered dates of sowing were taken to observe effect on disease progression and their effect on seed yield. The effect of various weather parameters along with different date of sowing on the development of Alternaria leaf spot in susceptible soybean cultivar RKS-24 was investigated during Kharif season 20. Alternaria leaf spot incited by Alternaria alternata is most destructive disease of soybean appeared in southern and eastern parts of Rajasthan as well as India. I unfortunately missed that.Weather attributes play a crucial role in the infection process and spread of pathogen. That is some 5 kms away in a garden in the direction to Nathdwara. This is not the original Chetak Chabutara or Smarak built by Maharana himself, so please don't confuse with that.

Do visit that to get a beautiful view of Haldi Ghati battle area. Close to museum there is a hill with a sculptor of Maharana on Chetak. They should organize themselves on a war footing and allow enough lighting and space for people to move around and feel the history. Agreed that museum is inexpensive and based on a novel concept however such mismanagement is unwarranted in the interest of everybody elders, ladies and children in particular. At this rate a major mishap or tragedy is waiting to happen. People who are in front get a view, people who are behind cannot see anything, old people and ladies face a discomfort and tend to stay put in some corner, the moment the show is over they shout for crowd to move to next section and shut lights. In every section the light and sound show begins the moment rush starts coming in. No one exactly knows what's next and the employees shout and tell you to next section after someone opens the door to that section. The problem lies in very dark atmosphere and irresponsible behavior of people who nudge and push each other. A certain number of people, around 80 to 100 or so are allowed inside at one time and they need to move together through different sections. However the event management is very poor. The individual who has conceptualized this has to be complimented.

The museum is based on a very nice concept wherein there is a 10 minute documentary in an auditorium followed by light and sound show depicting various phases of Maharana's life in separate closed enclosures. This is a museum that is dedicated to Maharana Pratap and the history particularly related to the epic Haldi Ghati battle.
